On October 7, 2026, the Compañía Sud Americana de Vapores (CSAV), a partner of the Chilean Pacific Foundation, held the fifth edition of the “Global Trade Day” seminar, this time under the theme “Chile Facing the New Order.” The event brought together perspectives from academia, government, and industry to analyze how Chile relates to the world as international trade is being reshaped, and what is needed for the country to remain an open, connected, and competitive economy.
Speakers at the seminar included Pol Antràs, professor of economics at Harvard University; Paula Estévez, Undersecretary of International Economic Relations; and Daniel Fernández, president of the Chilean Chamber of Shipping and Ports (CAMPORT).
Given the relevance of the topics discussed, we are sharing the speakers’ presentations. We thank CSAV for making them available.
