We congratulate ProChile on the launch of Chile Week China 2026, an initiative in which the Foundation participates as a strategic partner.
The ceremony was led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Francisco Pérez Mackenna, and was attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Jaime Campos; the Undersecretary of International Economic Relations, Paula Estévez; the Director General of ProChile, Ignacio Fernández; the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Chile, Niu Qingbao; and the President of the Chile-China Business Council, Juan Carlos Domínguez, as well as representatives of business associations.
Chile Week China 2026 will take place from November 16 to 20 in Beijing, Shenzhen and Shanghai, coinciding with the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, to be held in Shenzhen on November 18 and 19. This eleventh edition marks the beginning of a new decade for the initiative and places special emphasis on technology and artificial intelligence, along with agrifood, innovation, investment and high-value services.
The program includes the official opening, sectoral roundtables and trade promotion activities in Beijing; visits to technology, mining, finance and smart city companies in Shenzhen; and innovation, investment and sectoral promotion activities in Shanghai.
ProChile and the Foundation have joined forces to complement Chile Week with the 2026 China Innovation Mission, which the Foundation will carry out in partnership with EY Chile.
