The Chile Pacific Foundation and ICARE were the organizers of this webinar, which analyzed the characteristics and potential effects of the latest events in the relationship between China and the United States, with special emphasis on their impact on world trade dynamics, particularly for Chile. The panelists were Jeffrey Sachs, professor and director of the Center for Sustainable Development, Columbia University; Margaret Myers, director of the Asia & Latin America Program of the Inter-American Dialogue; and Paulina Nazal, director of Proamérica and former head of the General Directorate of International Economic Relations (DIRECON, currently SUBREI).
