In a recent conversation held by the Chile Pacific Foundation with H.E. Niu Qingbao, the ambassador referred to China’s interest in investing in opportunities such as green hydrogen and renewable energies, and lithium, and made a special call to Chinese investors to invest in green hydrogen, noted a BNamericas article. Among other points highlighted in the article, BNamericas also noted former president Eduardo Frei’s speech on the opportunities offered by the development of green hydrogen in Chile to further industrialize the country, and the lithium industry, and statements by the ambassador on Chile’s investment future after the plebiscite, which he said would be favorable.
