Congratulations to Alberto van Klaveren Stork, who is a member of the Chile Pacific Foundation board of directors, on his appointment as Minister of External Affairs. We wish best of success to Minister Van Klaveren in the challenge of carrying out the international relations of our country.
We are certain Minister Van Klaveren, a close collaborator of our Foundation over many years, will excel at performing the high responsibilities assigned by the President of the Republic by drawing on his remarkable academic background, vast experience in international affairs and long trajectory of service having held positions as Undersecretary of International Relations, Ambassador of Chile to the Netherlands and Chilean agent before the International Court of Justice in The Hague, among other positions. We take this opportunity to renovate our commitment to supporting the efforts to advance Chile’s integration into and engagement with the international community, as well as with the establishment of public-private bridges to move along the path of development.
