The Fundación Chilena del Pacífico is the Chilean chapter of the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council (PECC) established by tripartite National Committees (comprised of academics and representatives of the respective public and private sectors). As such, the Executive Director of the Foundation has the title of Chairman of CHILPEC (Chilean National Committee for Pacific Economic Cooperation), heading the Chilean participation in this entity that generates, analyzes, debates and makes public proposals for the integration and cooperation of the countries in the Pacific Basin.
